GSi Cantoria is a physical modeling emulation of a Baroque-style Pipe Organ.

INSTRUMENT BACKGROUND

A pipe organ is a rare sight, with countless variations in stops, manuals, pipes, sizes, and positions. Cantoria embodies a Baroque-style organ featuring a single manual with 9 stops, 3 couplers, and the classic "tremulant" effect. With 776 pipes individually simulated, Cantoria offers dynamic versatility ranging from delicate flute-like tones to grand, resonant full-organ sonorities.

This synth engine combines additive synthesis and physical modeling without any sampled sounds, delivering a natural response to expression pedal input by modulating the airflow through the pipes.

Derived from the Italian term for the area in a church housing the organ and choir, "CANTORIA" is an apt name for this plugin.
